Mmmmm. There used to be a restaurant in Dallas (Baby Doe's for you old Dallasites) that had the best escargot! Swimming in butter, garlic and white wine in a sautéed mushroom cap. Haven't had them since!

I tried one on a cruise 30 years ago.
I had a hard time eating a slug that I would see in our yard.
