If you look at HAC, Parents would have set a value for the grades right above the first class they have. We have ours set for below 90%. Therefore, any grade our son receives that is an 89 or below we receive a report. Each Monday you will receive a message that shows the stats from the previous week - and one from each class where the child has gotten a grade lower than you set. (I only get them on a Monday - not sure why). It's definitely better to view them on a computer than your phone - I get all those dashes on my iPhone, too. Each assignment the child received a lower grade under the value the parent set initially will be shown on a different line (or sometimes they squeeze together on the iPhone. You can PM me if this does not make sense - I'm only now working on my first cup of coffee and the light bulbs are starting to turn on in various pockets in my brain. Emoticon

The first part shows the due date, assignment date, then the assignment name, formative/summative, then it shows the score, total points, then percent all the way to the right (which essentially is the same "score" shown a few columns earlier.

@Palm Springs I don't know that I've ever looked at it from home, always on my phone from work, that might explain it. Ours is also set for grades above I believe 90, so I can never tell if he's rockin or sucking. He's my good boy though, grades are never below 85.

@Greg - The viewing is much better from a computer. We received one yesterday (80% on an assignment) and I was like I'm gonna have to wait to get home to view it - can't see beyond all these dashes.. If there is only one grade then just look at the bottom of all that crap and the last item will be the percentage from the assignment. I'm sure your son is doing well. It's not often they get a not-so-good grade, but they can't always be on their "A" game!

Great idea and way to keep parents in the loop, if a child is struggling with something it's better to know and fix it if possible.
