I wonder if it will help or hurt their business because almost everyone in there was smoking last night.

that's great... I will go and check them out. I've been there only once... I don't frequent places where smoking is allowed.

I went there once to celebrate a retirement go away party and I did see a lot of smokers. It could go either ways.

The best buffalo chicken sandwich I ever had was from there......But the smoke is the reason I don't go into coaches sports bar anymore..... It is ridiculous in there

Well this is not popular , but I don't like seeing people loose their rights . I do agree I can't stand the smell & it burns my nose & throat & is for sure not healthy to breathe ! But when that right is taken away what is next ??? Carrying guns ?? Some would say some carrying guns are a danger to those around them . I do think there should be a sectioned off area on a separate AC system with fans that suck the smoke out . Are even just a separate area with fans to suck the smoke out would most likely be enough .I just really feel you lose one thing & where does it stop .

@bbk I know the 2nd amendment deals with the right to bare arms, which amendment deals with the right to smoke? I can't find it.

@B12Fan Of course 2nd amendment protects people carrying guns . That was not a good comparison of people loosing rights . Perhaps I should have said what will be lost next ? people can't go out & drink liquor at a restaurant or a bar ? After all we can't drink & drive drunk & people do it every single day . Every day someone dies from a drunk driver . So both things harm people but you only really hear people complain about cigarettes .

Private businesses can make the rules that they want.

I'm a smoker and don't go to Coaches because of all the smoke. I do not think it's a lose our rights deal to not be able to smoke in public places (even bars). I'm not sure I buy into all the second hand smoke deal but still...we have to consider others that do not smoke (and the one's that do that don't like all the smoke built up in a closed building) and be considerate and go outside and light up if we need to have a cigarette.
I do not mind at all to know I have to go outside to smoke. I think it should be that way everywhere. A bunch of cig smoke bothers me and I'm a smoker. I couldn't imagine being a non smoker and have to deal with that. It's not a right we have to be able to smoke in a public place. I think most smokers feel the same as I and just light up at those places because it is allowed (and they are drinking) but probably do not smoke on their homes/cars/offices.
Have some respect and go outside!!!!!
Carrying is a different deal..imo.

@cador What is wrong with a separate area & fans to suck the smoke out ???? I smoked for 45 years & only quit 9 years ago. But in 100 plus degrees of heat no way did I want to go outside to smoke & we smoked in our home .

@bbk nothing is wrong with it, if that is what the owner wants to do. The business owner gets to make that call. Is this place in a strip center? Maybe the owner of the building doesn't want the liability.
