@TXNS_fan Isn't that like almost a whole 24 hours one way?I'd be on the news halfway through. With just a head and shoulders shot. In an orange jumpsuit.

I believe we will go to Six Flags. No other plans yet. I have been to Vegas with kids, not teens, but we had a lot of fun. If you rent a house with a pool that can be a nice way to get away from the hustle of the casinos. There's a canyon near by that you can hike, plus roller coasters and that one hotel with the water park. Teens might appreciate the shows and good restaurants too. I think vegas is fun for everyone.

I know, 22 hours might be too much... We haven't decided yet, we wanted to fly for miles but don't have enough for the days we want. We drove 15 hrs in a day before, what's 8 more. We'll probably break it to 2 days, I kinda like road trips, that way we see more

Well I've just found out my freshman has baseball pretty much every day that week. 😒 While I love watching him play ball, I am disappointed I now have to wait til summer for a vacay.

We took our grandchildren I think one was 14 & the other 9 at that time .We saw the shows & they loved it as we also did . We had seen those 3 the month before & 1 month later decided to take our grandchildren as they are really WONDERFUL ! .No where else could afford to put on this type production . Google Cirque du Soleil Then click Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil Shows : Book Show tickets . Then under each show click on a short movie showing you a little of what you will see in the show . We saw KA , O , & Mystere & they were awesome!!!!! We spoke with someone who saw The Beatles & wasn't that happy about that one , Didn't have any other Cirque shows when we were there .

We're going low-key for Spring Break since we have a big Disneyworld trip planned for the Summer. I think we're just going to drive up to Austin for a couple of days and do a tour of the locations where HBO's, "The Leftovers" (our favorite show) was filmed.

@Littlegoo Do you go & eat at the Oasis at lake Travis we love that place .

@DaycareMom lol.....I was there in 86 or 87 and was in Matamoros that night that Mark Kilroy from Sante Fe was kidnapped and murdered...mutilated....we were in the same bar over there....started seeing missing posters down there and read in the news 2 weeks later what happened.......I wouldn't even think about going across the border now

@macdaddy Totally remember that but I was only a 7th grader, partying on the beach saying I was a high schooler.Yeah.. never spent much time in Matamoros after that incident.. would only go as far in as Garcias for some cigars and Negra modelos.
