A Sidewalk Amenity Around Lake/Canals in ACIA

A Sidewalk Amenity Around Lake/Canals in ACIA

Wouldn't it be a nice amenity for the ACIA to have a sidewalk around the canals and Lake where there is Harris County Flood Control District land?

You can go to the HCFC web site and they encourage HOA's and such to take on such projects. The MUD #32 has agreed to spend money in our parks building pavilions and such and at one time a board looked at purchasing a golf course with club house.

Perhaps the boards and the MUD's would look at putting in sidewalks on this unused land to make a wonderful amenity for our communities.

What a great idea. Put in a bench or 2 or a couple of benches and let people walk along the shore, fish or even have some sidewalks for mothers with strollers, low cost and high value.

Is this true, that area would be perfect for this. What a cost effective amenity for the residents to be able to enjoy our beautiful lake.

The muds must have these maps. Perhaps they can get together with the ACIA and post them on our ACIA website so everyone can see.

Dang, you are going to make me tear my office apart for a map? If Justsayn has it then why shouldn't she just take a phone picture of the area she is talking about. There's no reason for all the back and forth on who should have it. If she wants to make it happen work with it.
If we can have discussions without dragging the HOA out every time then it is productive otherwise most of us stop reading.

Suit yourself , the ACIA has maps and posting them would be great so people can see where the land is available for this great idea.

I would think they would be all for this - what a great low cost (no cost for the ACIA if the mud and county help out) amenity.
