Bicyclist Struck/Killed On 1960
Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10900 East FM 1960 about 5:15 a.m. on Saturday (1/30/16). The male victim, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer D. Rodriguez reported: The driver of a white Nissan Frontier was traveling eastbound on an FM 1960 bridge when the victim, a bicyclist, made an apparent unsafe left turn and was struck by the pickup truck. The victim died at the scene. The driver of the pickup, who showed no signs of intoxication, was questioned and released at the scene.
