Houston Police respond to report of shooting in Medical Center

Houston Police are responding to reports of a shooting in the Medical Center.
The HPD public information office says that at approximately 2:50 p.m., police received a report of a shooting in progress in the 6500 block of Fannin.
This is a developing story.

UPDATE:The Houston PD Public Information Office says preliminary reports do not indicate there was a shooting. There is glass on the street from an upper floor window which may have been broken in the Houston Methodist Scurlock Tower. HPD says officers are staging around the area to ensure no one is injured by falling glass.
