SUMMUS International Private School is now enrolling Prep-1, Prep-2, Preschool 3 and Preschool 4 and is offering $100 off the enrollment and supply fee with payment of the first month's tuition. SUMMUS is a dual-language full immersion preschool where children are instructed in English and a foreign language and exposed to American and World cultures. SUMMUS offers 6 languages, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Mandarin Chinese, as well as English.
Owned and operated by certified
teachers with over 31 years of combined teaching experience in the
private/public sector, SUMMUS is committed to providing a high quality
education to help children develop their unique abilities and provide
them with tools to succeed in a globalized society. Teachers focus on
building every child�s self esteem and confidence through positive
feedback and rewards, and nurturing each child�s natural strengths.
A few of the benefits of early instruction in a foreign language are:
1. Students studying two languages have an advantage in thinking and learning to read over those studying one language.
2. Immersion students equal or surpass their peers in standardized tests.

Those studying two languages move faster through the stages of cognitive
development, demonstrate selective attention to information and have an
advantage in cognitive processing.
4. Texas mandated in 2014 that
all in-coming high school freshman must have two years of a foreign
language to graduate; language instruction in preschool gives a child a
huge head start.
