An Humble area prom themed fashion show will be held on Sunday, January 24th. The program will feature the latest formal wear styles, exhibited by approximately 23 local high school models. Prom season for the district is right around the corner, with events planned for the district's high schools in April and May.
Janet Huberty, wife of school board president Dan Huberty, will MC the event. Several local businesses will provide a showcase of prom related services and merchandise. Local businesses have also sponsored prizes and raffle items. Vendors include Once Upon A Time Bridal and Formal, Debonair Limousine, Visible Changes, Essential Care, Scott Tate Photography, Mitas Photography, Al’s Formalwear, Sherri’s Cut Co, Tuscany, Tropical Rays, Mary Kay, Amaryllis, Nails 2 U, Barbie Nails, Nails by Emily, Amedeo’s, Rico’s Grill, Catfish Café, Sharky’s. Additional merchants are expected.
The show will be held at the Humble Civic Center, and will begin at 2pm. Tickets are a value $5.00 each prior to the event, and $7.00 at the door. Seating will be limited to the first 500 guests. Concessions will be available at intermission.
