Thanks to the Humble Intercontinental Rotary Club and the Kingwood Area Republican Women’s Club, each third grade student at Humble Elementary, Lakeland Elementary, North Belt Elementary, Jack Fields Elementary, Park Lakes Elementary, and River Pines Elementary will receive their own dictionary to use in school and to take home at the end of the year.
Representatives from both organizations recently visited the Humble ISD Administration building to place a plaque inside of each dictionary to let each of these students know who made the donation. This wonderful donation will assist students to complete the school year as good writers, active readers and creative thinkers. This donation would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the people who have made a personal commitment to improving literacy and the quality of life in their community.
Humble ISD thanks the special people from the Humble Intercontinental Rotary Club and the Kingwood Area Republican Women Club.
