"I love not penalizing for pre-existing conditions"
"I love keeping my loser boomerang 25 yr old kid on my insurance plan"
"I love not paying for others' emergency room visits because they're too cheap to buy insurance"

While Obamacare clearly has faults, the next true test is hearing what our Governor and Legislators will bring to the table as the solution for the growing number of uninsured Texans? The Fire Department ambluance must transport anyone to the E.R. and they must treat the patient. Too many people with no insurance and Non-Emergency issues are using these services. The unpaid medical bills of the uninsured are being passed as premium increases to the insured and the business community. Responsible individuals are finding it impossible to keep up with these increases just as companies are opting out of their medical benefit programs. If you have insurance you are nervous, if you lack insurance you are desperate! This is our reality. We're at Ground Zero.

It seems to me, if we can clear the Special Interest Groups out of the arena, we have the best and brightest in place to reach a consensus of what is best for the nation.

the debate on obamacare aside;

I think putting a bumper sticker like that on your car around here is asking for a lot of negative feedback on the roads.

I drive a small car and have no desire to be harassed by some redneck Republicans in their gas-guzzled monster trucks!

But I am grateful we are moving toward ALL getting healthcare.
Think about it.... don't you know someone who could truly afford health insurance but waste their money on other priorities instead? And then the responsible citizens end up w/ the burden/cost of their care. Not fair. Now, they will be forced to get insurance...

And it IS the government's responsibility to fix it because it is putting the country under.

So its the govt responsiblity for YOUR health...I guess you dont mind being told by the govt what you can and cant do...Well I do mind paying for others health care who are lazy and have no incentive to find a job...

Premiums increased as a direct result of obamacare not the usually 3 to 4 % increases.... 10 to 12 % .... That is Rediculous ....

Yes Mac...it is pointless. Liberals seem to overlook the fact that America is the "Land of Opportunity", and our history of immigrants were made of people who came here for an opportunity...NO PROMISES, only that there was a chance to achieve.
There are only three reasons that I can explain the liberal mind...
1. You are a person seeking control over others.
2. You are poor and have the benefit us the numerous social programs available today, and have no desire to achieve.
3. You feel guilty for your success, and want others to ease your burden.

The cost of healthcare started its serious cost increases back in the 80s. Up until then the costs were usually paid 100 percent by most employers. Ironically, the 80s also started the major influx of illegal immigrants from Mexico, Central and South America. Today we are told we WILL accept illegal immigration and we WILL pay for the healthcare.

Obama is a socialist and his programs that have no way to be paid for, running up the unprecedented debt, his desire to control all major facets of our economy. And I am not saying Bush or any other Republican has answers, because these problems should have solved a long time ago.

What people need to do is look at what is the right thing to do, instead of putting their idealogy first.
