Four men have been arrested for trying to use counterfeit $100 bills at a local McDonalds, after an employee questioned the authenticity of the bills and called authorities. Elijah Coleman, Ronney Williams, Robert Cathey, and Joseph Lartigue were taken into custody by Humble Police, and then charged with felony forgery. Police found more of the phony money in the men's vehicle and on their person.
I spent over 20 years with mcd. Let's see we had 34 stores. We could easily get 4 or 5 counterfeits a day. Most were 100s. Lower bills 20 and 10s did not get popular until the mid to late 90s when home printers began advancing. No matter how many counterfeit pens you give em pretty easy to get them to do the 100s. Cause those were fewer. But to do every 20 or 10. Was a pain. We caught a bunch. Missed a bunch. My favorite was a guy in what was then a HLP truck. Gave a 100 in DT the girl knew immediately it was fake she called me. I asked him to park. Told him I had to get the change out of time lock safe. Lol he parked. I called the cops. It was in a *****inson so they got there very quickly lol
