That's so sad for a flat tire. Should have driven to safe spot but guess just didn't know not to change on freeway. Person that hit him probably never saw him in dark

My husband hit a piece of concrete road debris at 59 and 1314 which completely shredded his tire, it was absolutely undrive-able. Wee had it towed to a tire place. The cost of the tow was only $65. Please please don't stop to change a tire on a highway. This is just so sad.

I cringe when I see bicyclists on the roads.
There is one gentleman that rides his bike on Atascocita Road every morning and there is no shoulder...he is in the road. I know now to get in my left lane, but those who do not go that way often might not see him and I always pray that he gets to his destination safely.
I am really fearful for him.

I drove past in the HOV around 6:20 am and I saw the man in the street covered with a sheet. I did not see a car on the Northbound lanes but did see one on the Southbound shoulder, door open. We thought that might be the victim's car. Very sad situation and you know someone got that early morning call. I hope whoever hit him comes forward. Maybe they did not know they hit a person. Maybe they were in shock. But, I hope they do the right thing.

Extremely sad! Hopefully between the cameras on the freeway they can find this person! My DH nephew was killed this same way close to 8 yrs ago they still haven't found the driver. It's hard to believe someone sober would be that heartless to ignore or anyone NoT know they hit something!

Saw a guy yesterday on the ship channel bridge out of his car and looking under his hood.

kind of turns my stomach when I see things like that - I had a co-worker that hit a guy changing his tire that fell backwards into the roadway - my coworkers view was obstructed by the car in front of him that changed lanes at the last second - he was trapped in his lane by a vehicle in the lane left of him.

The way I understood the news was he wasn't by his car he was running across to the other side of the freeway maybe to go get help? Then got hit by a vehicle. Still horrible and either way very unsafe!
I couldn't imagine the shock, sick feeling and emotional feelings that would cause knowing.
