Fifty years for killing a family of five
Efraim Carmona, age 35, plead guilty to intoxicated manslaughter charges this week and received a 50 year sentence.
Carmona was driving the wrong way on Beltway 8 near Summerwood in late June of 2014 when he crashed into a family of six, killing five of them on impact, including a toddler. Only 15 year old Stephanie Guzman survived the crash and was able to give a victim impact statement this week.
