Humble man holds teen burglars until police arrive
An Humble man, Lester Meeks who lives on Wilson Road, arrived home to find three teenagers had broken into his home to steal electronics and other valuable items.
Meeks chased after two of them with his pistol drawn and fired one shot into the ground to show them he was serious. The two teens dropped the the ground while Meeks dialed 911. One of the teens made a run for it when the operator instructed Meeks to lower his weapon but was later caught by police.
Two of the teens are now in custody with the third evading arrest.
