How did the great musicians and actors ever learn without a $80 million dollar facility?
HOUSTON (Houston Chronicle) – Work began today at Rusk and Austin on a new five-story, 168,000-sf building for the Houston ISD's High School for Performing and Visual Arts.
The centerpiece of the $80 million facility will be an 800-seat main theater. In addition, there will be a 200-seat mini-theater, 200-seat black box theater, 150-seat recital hall, rooftop garden and outdoor art studio.
