Nothing about this case suprises me. The 'people' are acting out just as we thought, and Obama is doing what he does best. Dividing.

@AtascaGuy - your little quotes indicate an insinuation...but that leaves you open for misunderstanding by us readers. I assume you meant that the criminals looting, being violent, and vandalizing are acting subhuman?

Fact...The Grand Jury got all the detailed facts...Fact...Obama wasn't on the Grand Jury....

They are not acting civilized. Normal, civilized people do not act in this manner.I just cannot understand the lack of rational thought. Rational people would wait to hear the grand juries reasoning for their findings before acting like neanderthals.

I somewhat agree - but we all have a monster inside if the right situation presents itself.

@HumbleGirl: I am very doubtful of this statement. Sure enrage and anger but physically destroying property is absurd. We all don't have that kind of monster inside. That is a criminal mindset that brings no justification to anyone other than selfishness.

I'm not saying you would loot and burn down businesses. A monster can do all sorts of evil things.

Or idiots can use any excuse to do what they want.I just get so tired of people seeing color in these situations, instead of taking them on their facts or merit.There is right and wrong; there is good behavior and bad behavior.Some people are going to come out against the cop because he's white. Some are going to come out against the cop, just because he's a cop.Most people are going to use emotion to come up with their opinion instead of facts and logic.That, is what is wrong with this world.

@AtascaGuy: Well said. I'm not understanding why these people are looting stores to protest. Because they are so, so, angry? Frankly, I think the police should give them a warning and then start shooting. If I owned one of those businesses I'd be locked inside with a few well-armed friends and shoot anyone who tried to break in. Protest away. The media is certainly standing around helping flame the fires. The community activists are prodding them right along and our very own President has done (IMO) much more harm than good.My kids were raised to know YOU NEVER RUN FROM THE POLICE! If an officer stops you (even if he's being a Richard Head) be polite, be respectful and if you are arrested or issued a citation then take it up through the courts. I'd wager that if this young man hadn't been acting the thug punk he was, stealing from a store, then running from and/or fighting with the police - he'd be alive to do some more robbing, thieving and disrespecting of others today. Seems he learned quite a bit from his lovely mother and peer group. Being black is not entitlement to act out in any way you choose and if anyone attempts to interfere then the cry goes up for discrimination. Being ANY color is not entitlement to act out in any way you choose and then blame somebody else for the crap choices you make.

There are always going to be 'some 'issues'But to me, acting this way is not going to change 'those issues'. It's going to make them worse, and reinforce the way people think and firm up their beliefs, whatever they may be.Chicken and the egg. Which came first? Which 'issue' is going to have to be solved first for all the dominos to fall into place?Read my post as you will, as I'm sure some will, but some things have to be said out loud to get the discussion going.
