darn funny that I can't buy supplies for making tamales in fiesta without a bunch of people questioning me in disbelief.

YES - a WHITE BOY can make authentic tamales and masa from scratch.

I just need them to stop asking me in spanish....

Oh wow good on ya! I am way to lazy for tamales. If I can't get them from San Antonio then alamo is the next best thing. I love bean and jalapeño tamales.

Omg, just picked up a few dozen pork from Granny's. Mad that I hadn't tried then before, they are tasty. A bit small but I'm happy with them. I like the salsa too. Thanks for the recommend!
