Do you think the current ACIA board ACC actions negatively effect your property values?
 
Tired of fences that stick out like sore thumbs?
 
Should the deed restrictions regarding setbacks and building lines, garage apartments etc. apply to all the ACIA residents fairly and squarely?
 
Well sorry to say here we go again.
 
If you live on LAKE MIST COURT you may want to know what improvement was denied and why it is being appealed.
 
Of course you can not know because they are doing it in executive session away from the members and can come out and say whatever they want.
 
Now reasonably if a resident disagrees with a building authority decision they have the right to appeal .Every where that I have lived public notice is given and the local residents that may be affected are welcome to come and have input or make comments because it may impact them.
 
The current ACIA board goes to great lengths to avoid this including the use of WORKSHOPS.
 
The SENSIBLE SOLUTION- A BY LAW requiring transparency in the form of public appeals.

NOTICE OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING
 
Dear Homeowners:
 
The Board of Directors for the Atascocita Community Improvement Association will hold a regular meeting on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00Emoticonm., at The Overlook 20114 Pinehurst Drive, Atascocita, TX 77346.
 
The subject of the meeting is general business of the Association, including but not limited to, discussion of items related to the Association budget and expenditures as well as discussion of repair and maintenance of the assets owned by the Association. An appeal from the denial of an architectural application will be considered during executive session.
 
Discussions involving personnel, pending or threatened litigation, contract negotiations, enforcement actions, and confidential communications with the Association attorney, matters involving invasion of privacy of owners, and other matters that are confidential by request of an affected party and agreement of the Board are discussed in executive session.
 
We hope you will join us to hear what is going on in your community!
