Good news. We have to have 2 costumes available for each kid every Halloween because you never know what the weather is going to be. Our 2nd year here, we had the cutest bat costume for our son, but it was very thick and heavy, and that was the year that it was 90 degrees during the day on Halloween. I had to put together a boring cowboy costume at the last minute because it was just too hot! My daughter and I are going to be fuzzy monsters that include fuzzy hoods and furry legwarmer things. They would not have been fun to wear in anything hotter than 70 degrees.
