I just don't get the "popular" stuff these days. It seriously makes me want to punch something too. I like the KRBE morning show (Roula and Ryan) but HATE the kind of music that station plays. The only stations out here that I can listen to are the Buzz and the Eagle, and occasionally Sunny will have a decent 80's new wave song on.My kids are being exposed to classic rock, modern rock, and alternative. I almost vomited when I heard my 6 year old son sing that "It's all about the bass" song. That one also gets my gag reflex going....I absolutely HATE it. I guess I can't control what he hears at his after school program, but at least at home and in the car, he won't listen to any "crap".

I listen to a bit of everything but I get tired of hearing only the older stuff from the 70's and 80's especially. That being said I'm not a big Taylor Swift fan. I just don't get her voice at all. I do respect that she writes her own music and has for years. That's a true gift for sure.@moomaw - As for "Shake it Off" to inspire your beloved Aggies - how about a little taste of the same for our Texans? Lawdy - we need a win outta Tennessee!

I know about 3 songs off that list. My favorite music is old classic rock and old classic country. My kids sing all these old songs and their friends are always asking them, how in the world do they know the words to these songs!

I love Broadway music...I listen to that on my Sirius in the truck, KSBJ in the mornings and then I have 60's music on during the day at home and let's throw in a little "talk radio" on the drive home in the evenings...oh, and anything that FTAB plays. I will have the Noble Men of Kyle Field played at my funeral whether they like or not.

Wow...I guess I have totally become that "old curmudgeon" that can't understand that stuff the kids are listening to today! (I'm not really even that old either).
