I have never got one...does it make you sick?
I am thinking about getting the Shingles shot however.

Hope you get to feeling better! Those are possible side effects of the flu shot - it will be in the paper they handed you. Often folks only encounter stiffness in the arm. The flu mist is more apt to give you side effects since that is a live virus.

I keep my arm moving all day after the shot. It really helps decrease any pain. If you are over 60 yrs. and had the chicken pox, I strongly recommend that you get the shingles shot. Shingles are horrible. Excruciating nerve pain. You can even get it in your eyes.

thanks ...I think I will. The shingles put my mom in the hospital many many years ago for a week when she was alive. I had the chicken pox as an young adult...late 20's and that was real bad! I had to stay off work for many weeks...very disgusting.

Dh & I did it last year after seeing an aunt & a cousin with shingles . For many years we have had good intentions and only found the time to do it after hearing & see family members . GO DO IT , DO NOT PUT IT OFF .

Thanks bbk...I didn't even think about it, but some reason, it has been on my mind to go do as I have too heard some horrid stories this past week about shingles....I guess because all these "health" issues that have been discussed lately. ..lol

...for some reason now I am real itchy all over.
