I prepare extra treats/candy/toys in bags for my little neighbors.
Then anything chocolate, store bought Rice Crispy Treats.
Yes, everything was homemade. Popcorn balls, caramel apples, cookies, cupcakes. I grew up in the country which houses were miles apart so we knew every one and they would be expecting us.

I don't let my kids eat anything that was homemade.....there are some nasty people out there...who knows what goes on in that kitchen.

I remember getting Candy apples too.

We only hand out the good stuff! Remember those awful orange circus peanuts?

Chocolate bars. Kit Kats. Can't buy them too early - they mysteriously disappear.

@brightlights: My mom would always keep a jar of these in the house...she loved them!

@Undecided: Snickers do that at our house, along with Reese's, MM's Peanut, Butterfingers...uh, I always have to go buy more candy before Halloween starts... I swear it's the dogs.....

Looking for something cute and different to hand out. This is cute.

Also, the kids would have fun making these.
