I'm so pleased the Texans did right by our man. JJ played his *** off last year during a dismal season but never went on or off the field with an ounce of visible "quit" in him. He gives much to this area of his time and talents. Couldn't be happier for him!Maybe HEB will roll out the "JJ" name brand ice cream for his mamma!

No athlete is worth that amount of money.

I just looked online and the cheapest ticket on the sight I checked was $89 for the game on sept 7th. The cheapest parking was $35. Throw in some sodas and snacks and for a family of 4 you are looking at roughly $450. That is ridiculous. They have priced families right out of ballgames. And for what? Some guy who can throw a ball to make $100 million in 6 years? Ridiculous.

Just saw a piece of JJ's Press Conference on the "news"....Very sad that our local news is so "sensationalist" that they can spend 1 hour plus showing a stupid car chase live, but can't spend 15 minutes to show a press conference of a success story in it's entirety...

Guess I will have to catch it online.
