Her district starts tomorrow and I'm going to be there bright and early to see my little Chickie Boom off on her first day. I started keeping her when she was 6 weeks old and now hand her off to the "professionals" right before she turns 6 in 4 more days.It's been one of the best times in my life, and I'm very grateful to her mom and Dad for giving me the opportunity to help love her up and teach her a few things. My days this fall will certainly be less joyful, short of dozens of hugs, and missing the activity of her non-stop chatter and desire to explore with me.My heart is a little heavy tonight but I know my girl is prepared and ready. I'm not too sure if her teacher is!
