Grabbed my gun circled the house, checked the doors and windows all still locked. Hears the noise in the back and so I went. Nothing there either. Until, a scratching above my head. Oh crap, critters in the walls. So now I need traps and bait. I am going to have to do this redneck style. I got a house of frightened... well everyone.
I need some advice.... what the heck do I do? I will be reading up on this in the meantime. If anyone has any advice please let me know.

Um... I am not sure sounds pretty large. Im thinking a coon family.

They are inside my walls. I am going to get some traps from tractor supply and will try to lure them out.
One guy that I called said starting at 800. It may be worth it in the long run. Who knows, maybe this will be easy.

I had a racoon in my old house, had the please of crawling in the attic on Christmas eve night, and scaring him out, wife was outside watching in the rain to make sure he left. then I had to patch the small hole he was able to squeeze through....

We heard scratching coming from above my sons bedroom, that is the only way we knew he was there...

Yep...do traps...no poison. The last thing you want is dead critters in your walls.

My parents had squirrels in their attic. Cost $1100 to get the family out and holes patched up. Well worth it. They also had to trim back any tree limbs that were overhanging the house. This is how they got in, or so they say.

I am putting traps out in the attic and outside the house. Hopefully I don't catch the neighborhood cat.

One down, one more to go..... (I think) .... The other got away from me, but I boarded up the entrance and set out more traps.

Just don't bring them to ES, please! If you kill it, where do you put the remains?

I guess you hang the remains as a reminder to the other raccoons who come around.
