Yea. It's not actually there yet. Thus the developing. . A little SW of NO. Hopefully it would be a rain maker for someone.

Not Allison. Alicia. Alicia didn't have a lot of rain. But did a good amount of damage. I knew she had developed off the coast. But didn't realize she was that close. A friend and I drive from Nederland to Houston smack dab in the middle of Alicia headed to the Bahamas. Crazy trip that was!

My memory of Alicia was around the tornados that spun off.I think I was in the 2nd grade in Houston and our tree took out our street's power for 3 weeks and I just remember it being soooooo hot!

NWS reports it as a weak low pressure system predicted to go inland over South Texas/Northern Mexico on Thursday. Hope it goes inland as predicted and does not meander around in the Gulf and strengthen.www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtw o.php?basin=atlc&fda ys=2
