According to the deputy that showed up at my house on a Saturday night at 7 pm, there is no noise ordinance. Anyone making any noise at any time that is bothering you is disturbing the peace. My husband and I were in the spa with our stereo on. You couldn't even hear it from the street. But apparently, the people in their yard next door could, and that was enough for the constable to come.

Yeah this wad more along the line of giant party, cars lining the street and super loud music till 2am. Im hoping it was a one time deal. Next time ill be calling.That's crazy they called at 7.... I always thoughit there's was a cut off time around 11 or 12

Yeah, we thought it a bit ridiculous. The music is turned up a bit so we can hear it over the spa, but it was not extreme.

Good luck with getting the constables to do anything at least Pct 4 says there is nothing they can do . I saw 2 Pct 3 officers in a restaurant & stopped & told of a situation of loud music & disturbance & that Pct 4 said they can do nothing & Pct 3 said well they need to call us because we can .

@Vinbert: Just a heads up, large parties often turn into shootings around here. I would suggest you call the Constable each and every time a large group gathers around your home. Even if the Constable does nothing, they will be aware of the crowd.

@sandman: Texan native, born and raised actually but when u got 3 kids under the age of 5 and gotta wake up at 6am.....not to fond of the partys. I understand maby some fun till midnight. But then take it on some were else when they know families are around lol

Just weeks ago the Sheriff Dept served a search warrant on my neighbor (helicoptor, swat team, K9, half a dozen police cars, etc). Take my advice, when a crowd gathers around your home and if they are getting rowdy, notify the authorities.

@Humbletexan1: I concur. Nothing good usually follows large/loud/rowdy parties that extend into the early morning (especially if it becomes clear that the partiers couldn't care less about the peace of surrounding neighbors)...in Atascocita or otherwise!
