Posts will follow concerning police removal and the threat of removal by police from Atascocita Community Improvement Association meetings.Prior to the post it is only fair that the readers of this message board know that Precinct 4 police officers have never conducted themselves in any way other than a professional manner while present at these meetings.

Even when they were requested to do things(remove people) that many consider wrong, the officers did themselves and their department a credit to their chosen profession with the highly professional way that they conducted themselves.

The posts that follow are in no way to be considered an indictment of the officers of P4 who serve this community.

Does the board have the POWER to tell/ask the police to remove someone?

Does the board have the right to remove a HOA member?

Is it breaking any law to record the meetings?

I would never dream of bringing this crap up to friends and family. I've never discussed this with people in real life except to say - you are crazy for volunteering when you have to put up with so much negativity!

So @undecided and @macdaddy etc. y'all going to the next meeting? I'd be interested to hear your take on this situation. Since I have to keep seeing ACIA stuff here, I might as well be informed. I pulled this from your website front page.

Is this what other HOA.s notice of meetings look like?

Or do you get to see what will actually be discussed and voted on in the meeting?

"Any changes to meeting time, place, or agenda will be posted on our website: aciahomeowners.org "- What agenda?

This is our typical meeting notice, not negativity, just a fact.

No we just get a notice, not an agenda. It's emailed and posted online.

I'm on a committee and we don't put out an agenda either.

Matter of fact, I rarely put out an advance agenda for work meetings I host...and I'm paid for those!!!

Eagle springs posts AGENDA for the monthly meetings. As a matter of fact they post agendas for both their executive session and their open session and post it 3 days before the meeting as required by law. HG if you live in eagle you have no credibility.

Your HOA meeting was today the agenda was posted on July 7.
Interesting that your HOA provides so much information and yet still manages confidentiality by assigning homeowner ID numbers.
They reviewed minutes from the May 8th meeting,it can take many months for our minutes to posted, are your minutes accurate?

Lol well I'll be! Gold star for you! Maybe you should move to good ole Eagle Springs. Kudos to my HOA reps!

One thing that I'm not sure about, but since you are the expert, I'm sure you can tell me.

I know when I moved in over 11 years ago, we had no resident reps. We had to wait for the community to build out and then we could add residents one at a time as we achieved larger numbers of homes. So for years, there were builders running the bulk of things. Paid people who do this stuff for a living versus Joe Shmoe Volunteer.

How many people on the ES HOA are still paid builder people and how many are volunteer residents?

Don't know- we have had volunteers for decades and many managed to run the Atascocita Community Improvement Association according to the governing documents and the laws of Tx.

It seems if you did not know your association complied with Tx. law regarding meeting notice you are not well informed and your opinions have no basis in fact.

@Posterguy:

She needs to read her documents I'm sure it will tell her at what % of homeowners moved into the subdivision will need to be in place before the developer has an election of people that want to be on the Board & then they will have to receive a certain % of the people voting to be voted in ..Most developers don't turn their subdivisions over till almost sold out . They don't want to put up with non professionals making mistakes with paint colors or what ever else . This use to be pretty standard like I said above but read your documents .
