Hmm, if true this is not good. The whole idea of living in the suburbs is to get away from the overcrowding and hustle and bustle of the city. Now it would seem the city is slowly coming to us.

This whole area is exploding and the aftermath will be less forested, natural space, and more concrete, fast food, strip shopping, heat retaining, small-lot housing than should be allowed.

But we will have plenty of dry cleaners, nail salons and crappy do-nut places. That's better than trees any day right?

So in between the CC parking lot and the little bayou that runs down to the lake? 11 houses? Very disappointing the CC would allow that and how the heck are they going to fit 11 houses in there?

Discussing trees being cut down , drive down WLH and look what the new subdivisions are doing.

Maybe you need to speak with your HOA how do you know they are cookie cutter homes ? What ever they are they will know .

@tflea: While I get your point - just remember that there was a day that Walden was all trees as well. No one living out here can say anything about the removal of trees. We've all done our part if we live here.

Cheap housing=lower property values. How about building a park for the kids instead of cramming more housing into an already overbuilt subdivision. It would serve our community better that way. It's called greed folks. More money for the CC
