You need to ask some questions . Like what exactly that means ? I mean does that include you ordering all the food & drinks you desire ? IAre you given an unlimited budget for food & Alcohol ? I've seen people drink so much I felt like they needed their own private bartender standing at the table .I would not think this included alcohol though ,& I know it didn't on the cruise we were on .

This last resort we stayed at had 4 restaurants, 2 were more formal so we did tip only in those two.

@traxla:

You are expected to tip on cruises, an average of $10 per person, per day. On most cruiselines, they automatically charge you that amount, unless you complain, and then they may remove it.

Usually, we would end up giving our room steward and waitstaff an additional amount if they were really good, and on most of the cruises I have been on, they have been. On our last cruise, we really liked our Croatian waiter, Alex, and our party gave him an extra $100 at the end.

Last time we stayed at an all inclusive resort in Cozumel, we tipped the bartenders, and wait-staff at the non-buffet restaurants.

Yeah, but it's included in the bill... You aren't required to leave a tip on the table after dinning every night...

If you feel like it, you can always tip people for excellent service... I don't think there are any rules against that

Depends on the resort and where it is at. Read the FAQ section on the website. I've stayed at places that tipping is simply not allowed and at others that it is expected. One of those things that is best to "know before you do" so you don't get fleeced at check-out!

It's all inclusive for food and alcohol. The website says gratuities are included as well but when I read reviews, it sounds like many people still tip.

The cruise we were on we tipped anyway. I loved the animals they made for us out of towels & we really tipped those folks . But we also tipped others . Is this a cruise you are speaking of ?

No. Cruises aren't my thing. I will be stationary on a huge resort with 13 pools and 9 restaurants.
