Very upset. I missed it.

It was amazing. I got up every hour to see the different stages. Dragging butt this morning, but it was worth it.Mars was so bright!

Just to the right and below the moon is Spica (part of the Virgo constellation) and the bright planet out to the right is Mars.I couldn't for sure spot Saturn.

In regards to the Blood moons, some ministers are telling their congregations these are indications of the end times. Historically there have been several Blood moons before the current expected cluster and yet the world is still here. For those of you that believe in God, do you think this event has any religious significance?

I was not impressed moon just looked dirty to me. Could not believe how bright the star and mars were..

@rocket: I think there are some verses in the Bible about the sun being darkened and the moon becoming blood red. There are also verses about 'wars and rumors of wars' as an indicator of end times. Earthquakes, too, I think - doing this from memory and I'm old. lolAnway, I think Jesus said he did not even know when he would return to earth so why the heck should I believe that some preacher would know? I gravitate toward ministers who say in effect "I don't have a clue when it's going to happen, but I do believe God wins".

I stayed up to watch and got some video of the moon but the results aren't great. Since it was so late/early I decided to stay up to 4:30 and get some fresh donuts.
