Finally fell on the sword...

Kathleen Sebelius, the health and human services secretary, is resigning, ending a stormy five-year tenure marred by the disastrous rollout of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, the Affordable Care Act.

I'll say this for her...she was a good soldier trying to sell a $..t sandwich as cordon bleu fare.

IMO, the toughest thing she had to deal with was orders from the WH staff to put off rule writing and implementation until after 2012 elections. Good googly moogly, the law was enacted in 2010 and the protocols and regulations were held up til 2013? For an issue that represents 17% of our GDP? Amateur hour.....

She was a certified dumb *** ("some people live and some people die")and a shining example of ineptitude in the administration...but she was on a fool's errand.

Probably a planned move...Not too close to the elections and not too far from...She can absorb some "blame" from those with "perceived issues" with the law(especially from independents), therefore deflecting it from the candidates...

Yet the ACA is here to stay. Just like with the rollout of Medicare there were many that forecast its doom. Yet here we are this many years later and it is a mainstay of health coverage. Somewhere through the years, say in 2050, historians will look back and wonder what all the fuss was about?

Not even close....Too many obstacles...But, I'm sure we'll hit rock bottom on some of them and grow up sooner or later...

Some look at things only in "Black and White" extremes: Rich and Poor...On and Off...Right and Wrong...Good and Bad...Best and Worst...All and Nothing...

But the majority of people understand variety and variability and therefore see in "True Color"...
