I got married 14 years ago today...ended up being a 5 year long joke. At least I am now re-married to a good guy with 2 great kids, and had I not made that "mistake" 14 years ago, I wouldn't have ended up in the D.C. area, where I ended up meeting my current husband, so everything happens for a reason.
I don't like April Fool's jokes much. Most people have seem to have trouble figuring out where to draw the line on what is funny and what isn't. (Like someone pretending to be hurt or something like that.)
We had one fail so far. A supervisor reported a very impressive sales number on a daily email distro that includes our Sr VP then said April fools after several congratulatory emails.
