I work at a hospital which often lends me to shifts of all hours. Every time I come home after midnight and before sunrise, there is a suspicious person walking/lurking/creeping in the unlit areas of our neighborhoods. I have contacted the police department at least a dozen time to report suspicious activity. They are great but why, why, why are we leaving our lights off to attract those with less than pure intentions?Outdoor lights can be one of the most significant deterrents for burglary, home invasions, and other theft. Please turn them on!!! Encourage your neighbors to turn on all port lights. We need to do this people!
