The speech concerned race politics in New Orleans several months after Hurricane Katrina destroyed much of the city. The reference is to the occurrence of the phrase chocolate ditch in Nagin's speech, which was one of several points in the speech which occasioned significant controversy.

You give me facts, then once I apply the law to those facts, I don't care if one watches CNN, Fox, Univision, QVC or the Cartoon Network, you will get the truth, or at least how one should think.
