I need to buy local unpasteurized honey. Anyone know somewhere local to buy it?

The people that stand on a corner & sell that honey may be from your area or that honey could be from Mexico . Is that person telling you what you want to hear just to sell his honey ? At least the woman above has the hives in her back yard .

Just curious...why are you wanting "local" honey specifically. Does this have anything to do with the type of flower(s) pollen the bee's are drawn to or something else?

I don't know this person's reason but in the past after 5 yrs of allergy shots & several yrs after the shots I started having problems I took local honey .I put 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar ( Braggs ) & 1 tablespoon honey in a little warm water & drank it before breakfast , lunch & supper . It worked very well for me & my kids & grand kids . All of us have had allergy shots & I have had trips to the hospital .You purchase honey from bees that are within 25 miles of your home .Today I sit around & wonder in the case of my children & grandchildren if maybe just that mixture would have been enough for them. For me I know it would not have been I took 1 bite of a pop tart & spent 6 hrs in the emergency room when my throat closed up & I could not breathe . Thank God for an EpiPen it saved me!

my wife only trusts freshly made honey and we usually buy them when we visit Rockport as there is a bee keeper in the area.

I have bees in my attic (4th time). If you come get the bees, you can have all of the honey. Not sure why they see to like my house.
