I also agree that mayors etc. should not attempt to ban corporations for speaking of their convictions. It is the seemingly blatant hypocrisy that makes me choose to no longer support them...now that I know that they are so outspoken regarding the company's values. The passage in Leviticus is most often used to claim that homosexuality is an abomination. In that same book of Leviticus it also says that we should not eat or touch swine...as it is unclean. Chik Fil A has bacon and sausage on the menu. That seems like picking and choosing and hypocrisy to me. If you do not agree...that is your choice. I am just speaking of mine. They may quote specifically in Leviticus...but I'll take the example given from the rest of the 1000+ pages of the bible that talk about 'Adam and Eve', cleave to your husband or wife, don't fornicate. My gay friends in other cities...who are married...have a husband and another has a wife...in my opinion they do not get a free pass in regards to fidelity. In my earlier post, I was addressing what I see as hypocrisy and picking and choosing.		MsDoc View Profile Send Message

You like to offer up FACTS that are rarely true. Just like the food stamp thing which I cleared up in another thread. Obama has increase food stamps 59% in the last 3 years. Not good - I agree. However, Clinton took more people off of food stamps and then Bush increased it by 100%. This comes from the USDA. Check it out. I'm not a math guy, but if Bush had an increase of 100% in food stamp recipients, that's not good. (5x100%) + 5 = 10 Now, I the dude in office has tripled Bush's food stamps recipients, that's even worse! 10 x 3 = 30 Hmmmm - looks like an increase of 200%!!!!		jax View Profile Send Message
