A front desk clerk is a guest service representative. They represent the hotel throughout all stages of the guest�s stay, from the initial phone call, to guest registration, throughout their hotel stay and then checkout. This position requires an individual with high level customer service skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Front Desk Manager and General Manager.

Skills Required:
EDUCATION: High school diploma/GED required. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace and by hotel guests. Basic math knowledge including the use of a calculator/adding machine is also required.
EXPERIENCE: Individual must have computer knowledge with an understanding of Microsoft Office and the Internet. Previous customer service experience is required.
PHYSICAL: Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs. with finger dexterity, grasping ability, writing ability, able to sit/stand for long periods of time, shoveling, lifting, repetitive motions, verbal communications and visual acuity.
